Roxbury offers a variety of tennis and paddle tennis programs and events providing members with multiple opportunities for social and competitive play, as well as instruction. Our programs include interclub teams, private lessons and group clinics. Events include adult mixers, round robins, club tournaments, and fun kid’s activities.

If you’re looking to learn the basics, improve your game, or just want your child to learn how to play tennis, a private lesson or group clinic with our certified tennis pros is just the thing. Beginner clinics for younger children use the USTA 10 & under guidelines, including low compression balls and shorter courts. Adult Tennis Teams
Roxbury fields 6 women’s and 7 men’s tennis teams which compete in multiple divisions of the Fairfield County Tennis League. Match play is doubles and teams are set by skill level and ability. Men play both home and away on Monday and Wednesday evenings and women play on Thursday and Friday mornings and Tuesday evenings.
Junior Tennis Team
Roxbury fields a junior tennis team that competes against other area clubs in multiple age divisions. In addition to interclub competition in the Fairwest League, out junior tennis team hosts several social events including pizza parties, parent/child tournaments, and an end of season awards event.

Adult Paddle Tennis Teams
Roxbury fields 5 women’s and 8 men’s paddle teams which compete in Men’s and Women’s Fairfield County Platform Tennis Leagues (FCPTL). Match play is doubles, and team selection is based on skill level and ability. Men play both home and away on weekend mornings and Thursday evenings and women play on Thursday & Friday mornings and Tuesday evenings. In addition, Roxbury fields paddle teams in spring paddle leagues.
