Roxbury fields 4 men’s tennis teams that compete in the Wednesday evening Fairfield County Men’s Tennis League and 3 men’s tennis teams in the Monday evening Masters 50+ & 60+ leagues. All active male members in good standing are eligible to play on our men’s tennis teams.

Men’s Tennis Team Captains
Captains for the 1, 2, 3, 4, and Masters teams are selected at the end of the FCTL season by each team’s players.
Men’s Tennis Team Rosters
The men’s tennis team captains, with input from the Racquet Sports Director, determine each team’s roster giving consideration to player’s skill level and the number of registered players.
Men’s Tennis Team Match Play Line-up
The men’s tennis team captains set the weekly team lineups based on player availability and compliance with the Fairfield County Men’s Tennis League rules.
New Men’s Tennis Team Players
New team players will be evaluated by team captains and various team players and assigned to the appropriate men’s tennis team.
Roxbury Team Sportsmanship
It is extremely important that all members competing for a Roxbury team conduct themselves in a way that is respectful and courteous. High standards of sportsmanship are held for all Roxbury members. Poor sportsmanship of any kind will not be tolerated and if observed, the Men’s Tennis Team Committee and/or the Roxbury Disciplinary Committee will be notified and appropriate steps will be taken to correct the situation.
